The hangar is getting full, so we are reluctantly parting with our Baron after 11 years of fun and adventure. This has been a great airplane and we hope it will bring a new owner as much satisfaction as it has to us. It has STC'd Dynon EFIS, Engine monitor and autopilot, providing amazing redundancy, reliability and situational awareness. Features include vertical speed required to destination, altitude intercept arcs, synthetic vision with traffic display, vertical speed and indicated airspeed autopilot climbs/descents to preset altitudes, fully coupled approaches, verbal callouts for minimum descent altitude and various engine parameter exceedances and fuel totalizer functions coupled to the flight plan. Electric and autopilot-controlled trim are included features. Each screen is fully capable of showing all functions (PFD, MFD, engine display) independently or all together. Separate battery backups for each screen and for the D10A backup instrument, providing a total of three AHRS, all with independent power backups. Most components are within a looped daisy chain, providing quadruple wiring redundancy. The remote ADSB/transponder is controlled from the EFIS screen and the Trig Com radio can be controlled either through the EFIS or through the panel buttons. The separate knob panel allows quick entry of altimeter setting, desired altitude or heading/track and the separate autopilot control panel allows quick selection of autopilot functionality as an alternative to the on-screen menus. All engine parameters and many flight parameters are automatically saved six times per second for easy download to a spreadsheet after the flight, making troubleshooting (like finding a dirty injector) a breeze. Best of all, with the Dynon system, database updates are free, so you can put the annual subscription money towards something better – like Avgas! While not FIKI, the boots, alcohol props and alcohol windshield provide options if caught in the ice. The Jetshades are remarkably effective at keeping the interior cool, even in the Texas heat. The rear ones are a mirror finish and block almost all of the UV, whereas the front side windows and eyebrow windshield shades are a dark tint, which allows a little more light transmission at the expense of a little more heat. Returning to the aircraft when parked for lunch on a summer day in the sunshine, the interior will be a similar temperature to the outside air temperature. Compare this to the temperatures before the Jetshades, which were like a sauna! The paint is about a 4 out of 10, but the panel is wonderful and the engines mid-time, so we think around $235k would be a fair price. If you are interested, please contact me directly for digital copies of logbooks and more pictures. As Neal has always said "price your plane to sell and it will sell", I may be wrong but I think this one will sell fairly quick. GLWTS!

What kind of cruise speeds do you typically see on this? and what power settings/flow?

I forgot to mention in the original post that the autopilot is 3-axis: Pitch, roll and yaw, with a yaw damper. Nice plane. Great to see the rare proper use of the term 3-axis autopilot!!

Thanks to everyone who expressed interest. I'm not surprised it sold but I am surprised it was a couple months, I didn't think it would have lasted a week. Very nice looking 58, especially for the money. Congrats to seller & buyer.
