I opined there and I am reposting the same information: Since we are in the speculation game: PC-12 aircraft HB-FWU flew from Olathe, KS (Garmin Headquaters) back in March 28, 2024 to Europe. It has had a very busy flight schedule since then. https://www.flightaware.com/live/flight/HBFWU/history/20240328/1410Z/KIXD/KBTVI looked up the registration at the Swiss Aircraft Register it is marked experimental. If this is true, it will neutralize a lot of the potential advantages of the Denali. Pilatus has been very good at countering every announcement from Textron. I do appreciate Textron entering the segment, but man they have had a long gestation. I’d say that’s some pretty compelling evidence that they are flight testing a Garmin system. The big question is which one? The G3000 is getting long in the tooth so I’d expect them to install a new system if they have a large investment to make. It certainly appears to have a lot of test equipment in the back. https://www.planespotters.net/photo/146 ... x-pc-1247e

It would be nice to see a G3000 or G3000NXi with Autoland and envelope protection up front. Maybe even have auto descent and autothrottle with a small turn off-airway and away from mountains if the cabin has a rapid depressurization or exceeds 16000 feet during climb or cruise. Some weight transducers in the tail might be nice with an alert for surface ice. Idiotproofing and safety add weight and cost but coding for that hidden pressurization vampire would be beneficial.not sure about the ice weight on the tail feathers. Yeah, there may be occasions where an override capability is needed, like a jump plane, or once consciousness is regained.
It’s going to be an interesting chat on the golf course if and when Pilatus announces the switch from Honeywell, which is nearly 4x the size of Garmin and Textron combined.
Frankly, I was kind of surprised that Honeywell has lasted this long in the Pilatypus but they have really worked hard to keep up with Garmin G3000 feature-for-feature.

Good Afternoon,
I am strongly considering purchasing a PC-12. Reluctantly selling my MU-2 for various reasons. I am looking for recommendations who to use to find my perfect aircraft. Looking for a 2000-2005 model with a mid time engine under 3MM.
I have a few brokers I used in the past, but want to know if some can recommend a PC12 expert who can add value to a transaction.
Thank you.

I probably would have pulled the trigger on a PC12 years ago if they had the GX000. Prob too late for me now that the things are pushing towards 8 figures. Like the PC12 minus the outdated avionics.
Had been waiting to see what the Denali would come in at, but not sure it will come out in my flying lifetime. I don’t think so, if the Honeywell panel was horrible, it would. But, it’s actually a great system. Obviously, Garmin is better and less expensive to maintain, but I don’t have anyone in a PC-12 that is unhappy with it. We have a Denali on order for a client, expecting is to be delivered early 2027, big announcements on that bird coming soon. The Denali is an awesome airplane! My advice is to order one prior to them getting certification! There’s a lot of people waiting for that to happen and the price and your place in line will change quickly when it happens!

It's funny how each camp is firmly dug in. I've had a hard time selling citations to PC12 owners as they think they are too small. But I know exactly 0 jet owners who have transitioned to a PC12. Personally, I wouldn't either.
