Last week, ship #7,500 rolled of the assembly line ... a 737-900ER delivered to Malindo Air (Malaysia).

Currently bldg 38/month ... ramping up to 42/month. Order backlog is 3,100 airframes.

Truly, the 737 is the workhorse of the skies. What a great airplane. Here's hoping the 787 can achieve similar success :cheers:

I wonder how many DC-3's will still be working when #10,000 rolls out of the factory.

I too hope the 787 gets the bugs out and experiences a smooth ramp up in production.

Similar numbers for 737 vs King Airs. Pretty impressive.
