Well a few months ago a friend of mine David Lowery, ask me if I would like to go to a Continental Motors class. He said he had heard about it on Beechtalk. Since my C182 had one of those and pretty much all I knew about it was where it was located in the plane. I said " I would love to go." Now I should probably let you also know I am a newbee to the airplane world. I just got my ticket last August after thinking about it since 1977. So the time to head to Fairhope arrived and David and I loaded up in his Barron. Yes when I bum a ride I do so in style. We arrived at about 6 pm. David said look at all the planes. I commented they are all bonanaza's and Barron's. He said yea this is put on by Continental and Beachtalk. OK. So now I am feeling a little like a wedding crasher. I was a little closed mouth about owning a Cessna, and for me closed mouth is really hard. I met a bunch of great people at Fairhope. All of you made me feel welcome, and some of you I even told I did not own a Beech. I'm not much on posting but I do like to read what is going on. I am challenged on the picture part of this but I will figure it out and put a picture of me and my plane on here soon. That way those of you that I did not tell I own a Cessna will know who I am. Then you can choose whether or not to talk to me. Oh and before you get on me to hard Jeff said I could join. THANKS AGAIN TO A BUNCH OF GREAT PEOPLE.

Hey Calvin, Konnie and I both enjoyed meeting you! I looked up my old Hot Rod buddy's name and it is Heaton, not Hinton. I must be getting old. Hope to see you again and welcome to Beech Talk. Nobody was born in the left seat of a Beechcraft so don't let owning a Cessna keep you away and if you hang around your friend David much more there will be one in your hangar soon Tailwinds, Joe
