Hey guys,
new here as you can see... Guess I should say something about myself. I'm an aircraft mechanic working in general aviation, been doing this for two years or so. 60% of the aircraft I work on are G36s and A36s so I figured this forum would not be a bad place to join up and try to learn more and perhaps maybe share what little I know.

Thanks,
Brett

I'm really considering deleting my account already because the attitudes are reminding me of work, in a bad way. I just love Bonanzas, that's why I joined. :whiteflag:

Brett,

Don't drop out & don't let any comments/attitudes get to you. I've never understood why some people keep going to mechanics with whom they don't have a good relationship and trust. I love my local shop & base my AC (Sundowner) there mostly because of the lead mechanic and the shop. If they tell me i need xyz done, then we do it. If they tell me xyz doesn't matter, then I don't worry about it. The standard they use is to be sure every plane they maintain is one they'd be comfortable having their families on board over water at night.

I would advise you to stick around and keep an open mind. There is a great deal of collective wisdom on this forum and if you truly love Bonanzas you'll not find any other single source of knowledge as informative as this. Consider it fleet trend monitoring from both the owner/operator and maintenance perspective. That alone is worth the price of admission. While opinions run from both extremes, they are just that, opinions. As they say, opinions are like certain other bodily orifices, everyone has one. Soak it all in and keep what you can use. For me, it is all about safety and knowledge and the piece of mind that comes with understanding.

I'd prefer that you stick around. However, you will need to accept that other members have the right to disagree with you when you express your own opinions.

Stick around. No ownership required. How about posting pics of mechanical issues or tips. All levels of experience around here. Jist a 35 guy but King Air, 18, Baron and straight tailers have all written back and been showed their joyrides. Heck even a cool French pilot is on here. very cool. Want snobs? Subcsribe to %^&*$# magazines. Im staying around and renewing my Pacific Flyer rag.

Welcome aboard
MC

Brett expressed some strong opinions in the above thread and a few people dared to disagree.
