I’m a long time Cessna driver with a neighbor who flies a beautiful C55 Baron. My wife and I had the pleasure of going on some trips with him and his wife in their Baron. This is where the problem started! I then started looking at Barons and made the “mistake” and mentioned this to my wife. She then was determined that we were going to buy a Baron. She can be pretty persistent and she usually gets her way! We found a nice E55 with low time engines and props at a local airport where we three went to take a look. My wife and neighbor ganged up on me (she cooks him meals so he sides with her a lot) and encouraged (made) me to buy. Not too bad having a wife that talks you into buying an airplane. Well this past Friday I took my check ride in our new (to us) Baron. I’ve always admired the Beech products and frequently referred to them as the Cadillac of airplanes. The handling characteristics are unmatched. I was completely happy with the C-182 until I flew the Baron. Robert Robert, As you will find out. On Beechtalk, it did not happen until we see pics... So where are they? Tim

Something fishy about this thread. A wind up perhaps? Man comes along, says his wife insisted he buy a Baron, friendly neighbour on tha act. Takes a while to post a picture.......... This can't be all true!
