Thanks for the Welcome! I am based at KCEU. Sometimes difficult for a UVa grad to live in the Clemson area but I wear my Virginia colors proudly. I don't have many glamour shots yet (of the plane) but will attach a few that I have now. I think I will wait until my wife gets out of annual until I post her pics I tossed in the photo of the Eagle to remind myself what it was like to be young, fit and stupid. Now I am not as young, not as fit, but still stupid.

Could have put this post in so many other places .....like Executive override or three strikes and you are out but I will put it here. Had a meeting to go to in Chicago today. With a big smile on my face put 110 gal of avgas in the Bo and planned a flight from KCEU to KDPA. The boss overheard me talking to a friend about the combination of IMC, turbulence and low freezing levels. Needles to say I am sitting my sorry but in the terminal at GSP waiting for our flight to Midway My "boss" of 23 years barely likes to fly in good weather so this flight she would not have enjoyed at all. I thought of posting some pretty pictures of her as previously directed but I might post the look she gave me when I said "I will be pissed if this Southwest flight makes a smoking hole in the ground" Seriously, I will NEVER purposely push a flight into dangerous weather. it is probably good to go commercial today but the flight was probably ok to do but would have been a rough ride in IMC through most of the approach. I just wish I could get my wife to like flying general aviation more than she does now and worry less.

Oh well, just got off the Southwest ATD. Layer was 015 to 050 on the approach. Possibly freezing the whole way down. You just never know- could pick up a great deal of ice in 30 seconds or blast through 4 minutes on the ILS with nothing. The commercial route was probably the best choice but damn I felt like flying today. Have a good weekend all Scott
