I don’t know how I missed this great site over the years, but I’m glad I’ve found it!
I’ve owned 3 Bonanza’s over the last 28 years. My 1st was a H-35 that I owned with my father until 1996 when I sold her and bought a 1974 A36. After several anemic takeoffs with my wife & 3 kids out of mile high strips I decided I better go turbo. In 1998 I bought N6641T a 1980 A36-TC with 2800 TT. This has been a fabulous airplane. I had considered Turbo Normalizing the 1974 A36 and heard all the negatives about factory turbo’s but putting $35,000 (1998) into my existing plane and still have a 1400 SMOH engine just didn’t pencil for me. I found 41T with a run out engine and put a Western Skyways overhauled engine in and haven’t looked back. It actually ended up costing me $40,000 difference and I got a 6 year newer airframe with a 0 SMOH TSIO-520-UB! I updated the baffles, added fuel flow & engine monitoring when I had the engine installed and I haven’t had any cooling issues. Along the way I updated the panel with Garmin goodies. GNS430,MX20, GMA340, GTX327 & SL60.

No I don't. I have read those that do have good results but I haven't committed the time and money to fully understand the benefits to my engine. How about you do you run LOP and what are your power settings, TIT,Fuel Flow at say 11,000?
