Hello all. I'm new to this site but am a long time king air pilot. I am thinking of buying a Twin Bonanza for my family travel and have been told I am nuts for thing about doing so. Anyone out there that owned/owns and/or operated one that cares to weigh in on this, your comments would be appreciated.

There is a Tbone subgroup here that you should read back thru and we also have a group on yahoo you could join. Those of us that have em love em. The ones who say you are nuts are nuts for not looking at one of the great airplanes Beech built.

When you own the Bone you can't help but feel a little bad for everyone else trying to find a way to square the circle. A lot of the Tbone guys are commercial pilots. Wanna fill the seats and fly halfway across country and be comfortable and land wherever you want? The entry fee is so low and the upside so good it's like flying for free.

Thanks to all. I have a 180 that I have had for several years and love the look and feel of the D50. Theres nothing like a square tail and tail wheel. Thoughts on motors. Never owned or operated a geared motor or 720. Any thoughts between the 2?
