Hi, new to Beech Talk. I've had my F33A (1978) for 5 years. Been flying for 11 years, always wanted to - finally got around to it at 43! Better late than never.

My wife and I travel mainly in Texas for weekend get aways.

I recently upgraded the avionics (GTN750, PS8000BT, GTX330, SL30). I've seen the posts about radio issues with the GTN750, but haven't experienced any - but I'll be on the lookout - thanks for the heads up.

Thanks for such a great online Forum.

David Walter

Welcome, David.

I have some time in your plane, from back when you had it with Cassie. Nice plane!

Maybe I'll meet you some day; I am on the west side.

Welcome aboard!
My plane is based at F69 Dallas Airpark just 3 miles north, but my office is on the east side of The field directly across from the tower.
So if i'm not flying over East TX, I'm sitting at my desk watching every plane at Addison taxi by and take-off /land.
I'll keep an eye out for you.
Come by and say hi sometime.

Welcome David!

My CSOB HQ is over in Denton, KDTO.

Lately, US Aviation in DTO is getting really serious about being competitive with 100LL @ $4.45/gallon yesterday

If you ever need an O2 fill, let me know and I'll try to help you out.

DQ Dilly Bars and liquid cold refreshments in the fridge.

Hope to catch you on one of the Hard-8 BBQ or burger runs in the area.

Mike

Welcome to BT. My V35A was based at ADS, before I bought it and moved to T31 (Aerocountry) in April. And I did my private there in the 90's when I lived in Carrollton (now in Allen), and just did my CFI/II with American Flyers on the East side.

Have they started on the middle of the runway yet? I know the taxiways are next to be destroyed (and re-constructed).

Hi guys and thanks for the welcome.

I'm in Korea for an unexpected "quick" trip.

I'll get some pictures on the avionics when I get back and post them.

The runway work is done at KADS is done, they did a good job keeping the airport open with only one runway - the taxiway A work will start next year !
