Have a love affair with Beechcraft, most all of them. Currently have an experimental "Super Cub" clone that I built in 2006 on wheels, skis and floats. Would love to have a Bonanza after I retire next year. Currently employed as the manager of the Kenai Flight Service Station. Really appreciate this site.

Why a man with a Super Cub on floats and skis would want a Bonanza is beyond me.

Nice!

A friend and I spent a night on the Kustatan with a guide. Wish I had your plane to get the heck out of there. The bears were thick as mosquitos and HUGE.

A guy from Natron Air in Soldotna snatched us out the next day. That was back in 1995 when they had a C206. It looked like a flying swamp monster by the time we lifted out of the tall grass along the Kustatan.

Good times. I want to visit again.

When I grow up I want to be like my youngest daughter! I figure at some point I will have to quit bouncing around in the middle of nowhere and settle down to respectable flying! Plus, I have two grandkids to take along until they can do the flying for me.
