Greetings Friends! I'm a Student Pilot and a new owner of a Beech Sport. Looking forward to all the shared knowledge and comraderie on the forum as I finally get to realize my dream of flying.
In the ground world - I'm a McDonald's franchisee in South Georgia. I can't impart too much aviation advice at this point. But I sure can tell you how to make a hell of a Big Mac!
Happy Flying
Brian

Brian, First, welcome to BT!! Second, as a regular at the McD's next door I can say I certainly help the bottom line of the parent company Lastly, as much general aviation knowledge as you will gain here, and its considerable, you will save yourself a ton of $$ with your new sport if you join the Beech Aero Club. I've owned my sundowner for just over a year and the guys at beechaeroclub.org are extremely knowledgeable with the baby beeches. Give it a look! Again, welcome to the skies!!

Welcome aboard Brian, I'm a McDonalds fan also, can remember back in the early 60's getting on my bike when I was all of about 7 years old and riding all the way in to town to get two hamburgers(special price .15) and a Coke(.10) for a quarter that I had earned doing work at a neighbors for most of a day. So I order up the special and a Coke for a quarter, the girl behind the counter gets my order together, sets the bag in front of me, says that will be 26 cents. My heart sank, "but, I thought it was 25 cents?" She said there is a penny for tax, "but, I only have a quarter". She never even said a word, just reached into her pocket, pulls out a penny and puts it into the till. Tells me to enjoy my lunch and have a good day. Damn did she save my day, been a loyal McDonalds customer ever since, still nearly 50 years later. She never realized what one penny did to impact a young poor kid, she was my hero. They just renovated that McDonalds, still in existance today. Enjoy your Beech Sport, Enjoy your lunch and have a good day!
