Maybe it's time to buy a Flitz! Dale, It took me about twenty minutes the first time. Now it's only about ten minutes once a year to keep it looking great. I do wash it with clear water each time I clean the bugs off the wings which is almost every flight half the year. I prefer to use a corded electric variable speed drill. Start the drill very slowly or you will have Flitz in a few places other than on the spinner. Flitz sells direct: http://www.flitz-polish.com/Flitz-Polishing-Kits/Flitz-Deluxe-Kit

By the looks of it, this post has been taken over by polished spinners, but here it goes anyway.
My name is Jeff Carroll and I am the proud new owner of N2LC, a 1962 Debonair. I hanger at KPTK in MI and love where I live (a rare statement in these parts). The Deb is my third plane in 8 years. I started like most in a low power trainer, a Cherokee 140 in this case, then to a Mooney Exec and now the Beech. I have loved all my planes, but I have to say, the Beech is the winner so far. It so smooth and "solid" feel, I just gives one a lot of confidence. It is so smooth that it worries my wife, sort of a too good to be true thing. Anyway, we look forward to many flying adventures.
I have attached a pic of the Deb with me and my boys. It was taken in KMBS during our annual Operation Good Cheer charity event. I look forward to enjoying this resource and contributing where I can.
Cheers, Jeff

Jeff, Welcome, nice looking airplane. How old are the helpers? I have 5 kids from 14 down to 3 months 4 boys and a daughter. Username Protected wrote: How do you apply the corn starch? John - Use it in the polish removing (final) step. I just sprinkle a little on the spinner and maybe even some on the polishing cloth and have at it. -MO
