Does FlightSafety still offer 501sp training? Does anybody have an idea for the cost and length of the initial course?

If I were king I would mandate that all single pilots actually go to a real altitude chamber at least once.

At the very least, it should be part of the high altitude endorsement. It could also follow the oxygen requirements (if you are flying where you are required to use oxygen, you should have been in an altitude chamber (or the simulated prote room). It’s one of those experiences that until you’ve had it, you just don’t know what YOUR symptoms are.

I did a chamber ride at the FAA Cami in Oklahoma City. I thought it was pretty tame.
