John, He references Bonanzas and Debonair’s in his ad, so I would GUESS THAT he has these props, PHC-C3YF-1RF/F8068 which will not work on a twin engine as they are non feathering propellers. In my opinion the best option though for a Bonanza. Quieter than the original, good performance, no blocked out RPM range and they definitely have more “Sex Appeal”. https://hartzellprop.com/products/top-p ... -scimitar/“If Darrell later responds that he has different props that I have linked to, I will remove my post”.

Sorry guys, We have been out in the field today checking on some Electroair installs and calling on local customers. The propellers we are advertising, as correctly stated by Mr. Bullard, are the PHC-C3YF-1RF/F8068 Scimitar blades. These propellers are STC'd by both Hartzell and D'Shannon on multiple models of Bonanza and Debonairs. As for propellers for the Barons, please send an email to darrell@smoothpowerllc.com and I will give you a quote for the kit you need. We are distributors for Hartzell Top Prop STC's kits. We are also the master distributor for Electroair high energy electronic ignition systems. I spent 35 years overhauling aircraft propellers, with that last twelve years of that owning my own shop. With that said, we are not just some company trying to sell propellers. We actually do know what we are talking about and will be happy to answer any propeller questions you may have. If you have a question I would prefer you contact us directly. If it is something that I feel is relevant to the entire community I will certainly post it. For those of you who took advantage of the Oshkosh show pricing on the Electroair systems we very much appreciated it. We have been asked to hold the show price through the end of the month and I don't disagree! So, if you would also like pricing on an Electroair ignition for your aircraft just let us know. Respectfully, Darrell Pool Smooth Power, LLC.

If I have a c23 2 blade prob on my io520 bb now, would I need a new governor as well or would my existing governor work. Also if I installed this on the io520 now and at overhaul, I upgraded to an io550, would I be able to keep this prop for the io550

Also if I installed this on the io520 now and at overhaul, I upgraded to an io550, would I be able to keep this prop for the io550 George Frank Bullard earlier had posted a link to Hartzel on this propeller. Here is a link within that with FAQ on the Governor. https://hartzellprop.com/faq/top-prop-questions/Reviewing this link, the Super Scimitar is specifically noted as a replacement for the C23. It also shows it as suitable for IO-520 and IO-550 engines. https://hartzellprop.com/products/top-p ... -scimitar/However, this PDF right at the top, specifically mentions "STC'ed on original engines only". You would have to check the specific STC 's for an IO-550 engine installation for your plane, I suspect it likely would give separate approval for the Super Scimitar Propeller being offered here. I tried looking at D-Shannon online for their engine conversion STC documents to see if I was correct but could not find any available online STC engine conversion documents for your V35A. A quick call to any engine conversion STC holder should answer this. https://hartzellprop.com/wp-content/upl ... ARRev1.pdf

First, thanks for the BT Brother/Sister deal/steal!! Regarding STCs mentioned earlier, this prop should also fit on Cessna 180 and 182s that have the PPONK STC. https://pponk.com/props/...AND, if you want to have some real fun, make a call to "the new" Hartzell or a reseller and ask what just a single F8068 prop blade costs then look what it was in 2019 ($4.3k), 2021 ($4.7K), 2023 ($6.3K), 2024, and the new pricing coming in 2025 (could be up to $9k for just the blade). Then you get the insight that if one is bad or has been ground down out of limits the new one will need ground down to be balanced with the other two and it's better to just buy 3 new blades. ...and, at that point, it's good to buy the hub. So, this is definitely a great deal!!

So, this is definitely a great deal!! Bob, Thank you for your comments and yes this propeller kit could be used on certain 180 and 182 applications. The 180 owners are mostly now using the F8429 blade that was designed for STOL. I have been involved in the propeller business since 1980 so yes, these price increases are mind blowing to me. In fact, if this kit doesn't sell quickly I will part it out and make considerably more money! Respectfully, Darrell Pool Smooth Power, LLC.

We have sold one of these two propeller kits and need to move the second quickly in order to purchase another plane for our Aero Club. We have reduced the price to $15,900.00 plus shipping. This is an incredible price and won't last long.
Again, this is a three blade, PHC-C3YF-1RF/F8068, Super Scimitar Hartzell propeller kit with the A-2295-1P polished spinner assembly. It can be used on most 33,35 and 36 aircraft with either 520 or 550 engines.
You can reach me at 281-728-8732.
Darrell Pool Smooth Power, LLC. I'll take it. Will call in a few

I was tempted to buy the remaining one and store it until 2025 and someone had a prop strike. I have never lost money on spare props or engines. Avionics, yes.
