2x the thrust of a Saturn V... incredible. Would love to learn more about seeing those steering jets going off. Were those automatic or a human attempt to save? The telematics, animation, and onboard cameras are so cool. Armstrong or Crossfield would have dumped the booster and finished the test.

Please elaborate the treatments. Can you tell me what the yellow flames meant toward the end?? Otherwise, quite amazing! Only launch ever that people applauded when it blew up!

The yellow and orange flames are indicative of abnormal combustion. A good burn on the Raptor engine will produce a clear to blue flame, like a gas stove. Anything else is something that doesn’t belong there (like engine parts burning).

Or any water deluge or flame trench. This was done with none of them. Maybe consider it a a baseline against which the performance of the other systems can be measured. I guess they have the start of a flame trench now  Be careful where you park.
