Never flown one, but they seem light. If you operate at sea level or close to that and at lower weights it should be ok.

I like how they look and open up to load.

I'm not a tailwheel pilot but did do a few landings in a Maule M-5 with the 235 HP Lycoming. I was impressed with the visibility over the nose in the 3 point attitude

I had a 1992 180 constant speed model. It has plenty of power for 2 passenger normal operations. Economical with that combination.

That said, i would never own another one. Short coupled and terrible on the ground when fuel is in the outboard tanks. There is a reason why most have damage history.

I have had a couple. I was not impressed with the quality of the build. Mismatched hardware with an abundance of old slotted screws (probably surplus). As the saying goes “designed and built by farmers to be operated and repaired by farmers”.
