"Sad to read....To me, getting in the air and leaving the busyness below was a highlight in my life." Mark I can only speak for myself but after semi-isolation for 5 months cabin fever is unavoidable. I can be a little pushy or defensive as a result. I'd like to think most of the animosity I read here's the unwitting product of tension about the virus. When folks just talk about planes, flying & weather we're comrades again & politics become irrelevant. In a few months the election will be history and hopefully an acceptable strategy for confronting COVID will be in effect. We'll be back to sharing what brought us here; asking dumb questions without fear and answering them with patience, killing time with people we enjoy. Hang in there.

Now, I have yet to delve into the referenced threads, but hey, common, flyers are are a band of brothers and sisters who have shared something beautiful in our time.
I thought pilots were above it all. Perhaps some perspective is being lost. Step back or rise above. Celebrate each other's ability to be here in this forum and learn more about and share the joy and the art of flying.
To me, getting in the air and leaving the busyness below was a highlight in my life. BT mentors made me a better pilot, no question. Glad to see You Back Mark I was going to give you a Birthday Greeting a Few weeks ago, and Noticed You hadn't been around Used to have your Phone # until old Phone crapped out Then Started Looking for You in My E-mail List, couldn't find You there Either I've Missed Ya................How's That New TTX?

W O W, I’ve been off BT for a while, and I can only imagine what happened to cause this. I’m glad that you are reiterating the TOS for this website. It is a great place to come get great info. This is why I got off FB and other social media, people just can’t be civil sometimes. Kudos to the Jeffs!!
Thank you

Hi BeechTalk again. It's been since 2014 that I was on with a Travel Air, but am delighted to be back and welcome the initiative for civil discourse by the two Jeffs. Believe, I'll stick around and appreciate all who will comply with gentleness, forgivness, and compassion . . .as well as some expertise worth sharing.
