I apologize if this is a stupid question but what are “cycles” for a piston?
These engines are 1600hr tbo correct?
What year was the last rebuild/new engine?
So the paint is 1985 vintage
Has that low cylinder been borescoped?
Useful load?
Any damage history?
Are logs digitally available?
Lastly, I’m pretty sure all of the P models had AC, but can you confirm, and which refrigerant does it use?

Yes it was painted somewhere around 85-87. Since it has been hangered all of the time it is still in pretty good shape.

The low "40" cylinder was replaced last year.

Many years ago when on jack stands during service it fell off the jack stands. Fortunately the landing gear were down at the time and the damage was relatively minor.

Unfortunately I do not have a digital version of the logs.

Yes it does have AC and it was update to the environmentally friendly system.

Pressurization cycles on the fuselage.

Which mean what in this context?

How were they documented?

When it came to the number of cycles - I estimated them by dividing the total hours by my average flight time.

Cycles have no regulatory link to the P Baron life limit (or anything else) under the aircraft’s limitations in the US to my knowledge.

Unlike some pressurized planes, this has a relatively low pressure differential. As Don said, not much of a factor as long as it works properly. We had a 58P before the King Air. Great, capable plane.
