I have a Century 41 that I replaced this year for sale (parts). Everything was functional but the maintenance on the CPU was taking its toll so I replace it.

I have all servo's, boxes, CPU and stuff so I figure someone might like to have it for parts? I actually have 4 servo's, two for trim, one which was the older model (no one overhauls, but was functional) and the newer model with converter box for which I paid 1500 for 3-years ago.

I can provide more details and/or make offer.

I have a Century 41 in my Saratoga. It's a pretty solid AP. It does have a couple minor gremlins that I'm aware of and I just deal with it accordingly.

One is that in altitude hold it will periodically (not on every flight) have some really subtle yet quick porpoising. Not enough to fluctuate more than 50' prior to correcting. Definitely enough to aggravate the wife reading a book. The second issue is with the approach mode. I have a Avidyne 550 and dual Garmin G5's. Both of these are upgrades to standard 6 pack instruments and a GNS 530W (so I know the issue is the AP and not what's directing it). After intercepting the final approach course and the GS Illuminates if I put into the approach mode the plane really wants to quickly become a smoking hole in the ground. Needless to say the APP button is labelled as inop and doesn't get used.

I'm not smart enough to know if any "part swap" would be an easy thing to try to see if I could eliminate either of those issues. The oscillation of the altitude was thought to possibly be moisture in the static line... but that has been checked.

Although the gremlins don't keep the AP from still working pretty well I have my long term sights on a GFC 500, I suppose.

So with all that said, if anyone knows if particular components are relatively plug and play and could possible alleviate my gremlins... I might be interested for the right price?
