In your post you refer to this as “non-waas”. What makes this card non-waas? I’d like t9 have a backup, but both my Garmins are waas units.

When Garmin started making the WAAS navigators, they also started marketing a new database card. This card has a white label and you can occasionally find them for sale on BT. The form factor is the same as this card, but the older cards like this one will not work in the WAAS navigators. Not sure of all the technical details, but that's the way Garmin set it up to work.

These will not work for you. Wrong cards for a WAAS unit.
