No matter how many pushups you've done, flying in strong turbulence/strong winds, you cannot get full aileron deflection with one arm, so you'll have to take your hand off the PCL. This happens all the time even with our 5000+ hour guys.
So far, I've had to execute one go-around because of this. Hit a nasty gust/rotor and couldn't keep the plane straight with just one hand -> PCL forward and had to use two hands on the yoke to keep the thing under control.
Dangerous might be a strong word, but it is very uncomfortable. 47-> are smooth as butter compared to legacies. Flying a legacy on a good day, no problems at all. I actually prefer the control feel of a legacy. It's when things get a bit sporty, you really miss those Flettners...

1900 can be flown SP.
Per FAA...
(6) To date, the FAA permits applicants to perform pilot type rating practical tests as a single pilot or with an SIC in the following airplanes: (a) Cessna 501. (b) Cessna 525. (c) Cessna 551. (d) Raytheon390. (e) Beech 300 that are certificated under SFAR41 and the Beech B300 and B300C that are certificated in the commuter category. (f) Beech 1900 and Beech 1900C that are certificated under SFAR 41 and the Beech 1900D that is certificated in the commuter category.

25k TT on that thing is just getting broken in .
Only about 800 hrs/yr so far.
Would be a fun airplane to load it up & take to OSH.

The /45s are in demand and limited so many of the lower time airframes have gone up in value. Also if you need 10 seats, those aircraft go for a premium. Most of the aircraft that were delivered with 8 seats were only plumbed for oxygen for 8 seats. Adding the oxygen and additional seats is 80k+. You could just add the seats but not legally. The good news is that if you do purchase a /45 or /47 you will most likely get that value back and possibly more when you sell.

I was on the COPA forum and there has been some discussion about Pilatus moving to Garmin. I opined there and I am reposting the same information: Since we are in the speculation game: PC-12 aircraft HB-FWU flew from Olathe, KS (Garmin Headquaters) back in March 28, 2024 to Europe. It has had a very busy flight schedule since then. https://www.flightaware.com/live/flight/HBFWU/history/20240328/1410Z/KIXD/KBTVI looked up the registration at the Swiss Aircraft Register it is marked experimental. If this is true, it will neutralize a lot of the potential advantages of the Denali. Pilatus has been very good at countering every announcement from Textron. I do appreciate Textron entering the segment, but man they have had a long gestation.
