Because it’s fast, quieter than a jet, has a cabin larger than anything else that’s single pilot, is the best flying plane I have ever flown, burns the same fuel as a solitaire, can go 1600nm if I want to fly solitaire speed or go 390kts for 1000nm trips. In pre buy. Solitaire sells Tuesday. Will miss the heck out of that plane but too many long flights w lots of pax. I know all the ‘cons’ on piaggio so no need to rehash here. Short version is it’s an old plane, parts are not cheap but it’s actually not dissimilar from what I can tell from what Pilatus charges dor parts. Trim actuator will make you gag on both. Sub systems are not piaggio for the most part. Seems like any old jet or tp. Not for everyone but hopefully will work well for me.

The only piece you didn’t mention is parts and service availability. My PC12 always needs something. The dealer is at my home field so it just takes a text message to have something fixed immediately. I couldn’t own an airplane that didn’t have that.
