Help me find the reg and where it's stored - look at this ad:

I suspect it might be in Scottsdale, AZ. But that's just a guess. I've tried enlarging all pictures and enhancing them to get a reg, but can't get to it. The Skylane next to it has a visible reg, which would give a clue to its location, but the elevator is blocking too many numbers to make it out.

Anyone know where this is or what reg it is? From pain schemes it's certainly an old ex-Avantair aircraft. I first though it could be N146SL (the notorious elevator shedder), but by looking at tail in picture, it seems the reg starts with N10-something...

N107SL ? The paint job and the first two numbers of the tail number match

It is in a hangar that is at least 100 x 100... with trees behind it... and skylights in the roof... Google earth time!

Thanks! Some FAA checking from that lead and it could also be N105SL - same year models, same paint jobs. But N107SL hasn't flown in 4 years, so that would agree with the ad.

Both N10* aircraft have an interesting note in their FAA registration page: "Airworthiness Certificate Suspended - effective 08/16/2013"

Adam, I’ve recently received a masters degree in ex-Avantair planes and, while I know it’s fun on the internet, i would suggest getting this thing out of your head.

It's in the hangar at Scottsdale - Ross Aviation north hangar.

It has to be either N105SL and N107SL.

The only other N10* registrations on Avantis are N105GP (2014 model) and N109MS (2000 model).

Agree - I hope we are not witnessing a slow motion train wreck. An Avanti that hasn’t flown in 4 years without engines? This thing is going to suck you dry Adam.
