What amazes me is the labor hours required to build say a long EZ compared to a aluminum plane. I greatly admire the effort that goes into homebuilt composites. My buddy has a long EZ he build. Took years. Looks beautiful. I want one.

The Scaled composites jet may look better from a different angle. Then again there are those who think aPC12 is ugly. I'd take one of those too....

I felt guilty for thinking the same. I’m sure the math works, but it’s a six pack before it’s sexy.

I’m wondering if this is a stealth project. It has that look. Being able to build hundreds of stealth drones cheaply would open up a lot of tactical options. And it’s just like Scaled Composites to build a quick and dirty manned version to prove the idea works. Plus, SC is now part of Northrop who hasn’t had a win in a while.

I have one...
Since it only has one engine there is no way that it can be safe to fly at night over the mountains!
and
V-tail planes are not doctor killers. Doctors are v-tail plane killers!
