Below the sales price, it says to make an offer so it is negotiable. So, if you don't think it is worth $130k but want to buy it, make them a "realistic" offer. Seems like the sellers have done a reasonable job of explaining the $130k price but not all will agree.

While the price seems high and the pool of potential buyers must be pretty small, this is a highly upgraded C175:

- newer paint and interior
- conversion to a Lyc O-360
- engine analyzer
- VGs
- GTN 750
- GTX 345
- GMA 340

He says in the ad: "This is THE nicest/ cleanest Cessna 175 out there."

That's probably true...
...but it's still quite unlikely that we'll see someone paying > $100K for it.

It's a 180 hp 172 (with a 450 smoh engine and 15 year old paint) ... the 750/345 are worth $20K.

At $110 for the rest of it that's still overpriced by a factor of 2

I know the 175's have a higher gross weight and larger fuel tanks than a similar vintage of 172, making a Lycoming converted one desirable to be the best of the older 17X aircraft... I do not know if the latest 172s have an equivalent (or greater) gross weight or fuel capacity.

Either way, I'm out. I can't afford expensive planes

Yeah, and you can get newer, faster, better looking airplanes for the same price. Unless the tail is stuffed with hundred dollar bills there's no reason to be looking at this airplane.
