Not sure I'm a fan of the dark interior. But the rest of the plane was in great shape. Still in the shop getting squawks completed......hope to have it in the next week or so.
It has really sucked being planeless!

It sounds like you had a very nicely equipped C2. Wish I was in a position to have taken her off your hands. What do you figure an O/H on the C2 would've cost you had you kept it?

Thanks Marc. I've flown a friend of mines several times the last couple years. I'm looking forward to it. I really loved the phenom. I do a milk run to Naples about once a month and the Phenom can not make it non-stop. Tipping point was I had several trips that on returning to my home airport I had to land on ice/snow covered runway. With the phenom I would have had to divert. For most of my trips I just couldn't beat the TBM.

What is the real world cruise range of the 850? I know it depends. On the website the range looks amazing, but then I talk to friends that have moved to the Mustang, they say that the Mustang has almost the same real world range, but then the Mustang is not really known for range :scratch:

John......I loosely looked at the CJ2. Operating expenses, type rating etc just too much for me to bite off at this time. My home drome has 5000 ft runway and in the winter runway is contaminated .........just more challlenging in a jet.

Charles.....in the TBM 700 C2 1200 nm was routine. I imagine the 850 will be similar. I know the books say 1700. Not sure I believe that.......

Yeah, sometimes it is hard to get a handle on real world range from performance charts and advertisements. 1200nm is pretty good in the real world, makes a lot of city pairs. Congratulations. Certainly with the right winds and power settings, could stretch that quite a bit.

Great looking plane Michael! I think the black interior looks great. I had it on my Cirrus and it doesn't show scuffing or staining as much as the lighter colors.

Have they extended the TBO on the -66D? Last I looked on Avex it was 3000hrs for the bigger engine.
