You would have trouble finding a used phenom 300 for that price?

Crawled all over one at Naples jet center (Phenom 300) awesome. First choice in SP jet for me, really nice. Cj2 is my value choice. Now I just need to fly one!

No maybe not!!

I flew a 2014 KA 250 last summer had 145 hrs on it and was bought for 4.5MM. Family loved the cabin, I never got used to the proline avionics.

Slow learner I guess, only flew it for about 50 hours

It was same speed as my commander but could not go as far or climb as good.

Frankly, if I had one less person in my family, we would be in the Commander 900/1000. I had a short flight with Bruce and that airplane just blew me away........it was awesome.....I also think that the airplane is one of the best looking too.

What every other thread is about: singles vs twins.

The 350 is an odd airplane to me. I'm not sure who is buying them right now..... Wheels Up?

Like Mickael said, who knows what they actually sell for new. If like other Textron products the manufacturer is offering massive discounts. I can tell you from experience, none of these manufacturers are selling planes for list price except maybe Pilatus.

I can't see owning a plane as large as the 350 when it only has one little door to get in and out of. And it costs more to run than a midsize jet. And you need a single pilot waiver. Forget it. Too muc work for too little return.

A friend of mine bought a new 350 a couple of years ago. Paid $7.2million. Another buddy took delivery of a new 250 last week. I'll find out what he paid. Incidentally, he sold his Phenom 300 to get the King Air. Prior to that he had a TBM, a PC12, and a Phenom 100.

just like a maule vs super cub debate without the conviviality.

Maule guys know that they might need a super cub guy to fly them in a tire and tube tomorrow, and vice-versa.

I'd love to know what mission prompted that swap.

LOL. He just likes planes. Funny thing is he has no desire to be a pilot. He did mention that the operating cost was much higher on the Phenom, but since it was new and he only had it a year, I cant imagine him incurring a maintenance event that would be very spectacular.
The oilfield is, of course, in turmoil, so I assume he just wanted to free up some cash.

My buddy paid slightly less than $4.5M for his KA250 with all available options. List was $7.2M
