I agree with your broker about twin values. It's one of the big reasons I now fly an A36. Possibly/probably the best value proposition in the Beech line.

I kill time looking on controller and barnstormers for weird stuff. There are some amazing prices out there for off-brand planes. Or, put another way, other planes have NOT held their values.

same here in Europe...clean C-172s in high demand, for all the above reasons..
also if Piper would crank up Archer production, they could sell some containerships full of them over here..
seems for all the right reasons, people like a simple but sturdy fixed prop single + naturally all the avionics goodies that are available now..I mean Garmin 1000 cockpits and such...
I am only afraid that a new management at Cessna for instance will focus on the fact that they cant make money for the price they sell them, in my opinion because of prohibitive liability insurance premiums per copy made...they up the price of a new 172 to 450K USD +...and then it will be over...and that will be the end of it...
