AOPA had a feature story about the Cessna TTx in this month's issue which was pretty interesting. I guess they are selling them now.

It is a smokin' hot airplane! The TAS is very impressive, especially on the quoted fuel burns. And the airplane looks smokin' hot! The interior is beautiful, the Garmin 2000 makes me jealous and the side stick, like in the Cirrus, really opens up the cockpit in front.

Of course it's only a 2 or 3 person airplane but if that's your need and you want to get there fast in comfort it looks like a great airplane. Another downside is that it is about $75K more than a similarly equipped Cirrus and doesn't have a chute.

Who wants one?

If they put a chute in them, and pushed the marketing, it would be interesting to see if they could put a dent in Cirrus.

Where you still have a lot of feel in the Cirrus YOKE, I would love to see what it would be like to fly a joystick.

Those I trust say they are sweet flying hotrods.
