Hello I am transitioning from a PA60 aerostar to a C441 and all input is appreciated. I realize how open ended this request for info sounds but I am having difficulty finding a good source of pilot input
Thanx in advance ali

Have you trained with http://www.proflight.aeroThey're a well known 441 specialist. Are you looking for engine or airframe advice? There's a semi-active mu2 list if you're after -331 information. Cessna.org is a great Cessna resource but no 441 drivers there. Congrats - 441 is an amazing machine!

Talk with Caleb Taylor at Proflight. He is the 425/441 training expert and has a Conquest sim in Carlsbad CA. Bill Miles at Simcom MCO is also pretty knowledgeable on Conquests.

The Garrets are no noisier in flight than a pt6. Perhaps less so overall since they get there so much sooner.. zing

But by the time they're done winding the rubberbands, we've already got the crew car.

Contact WestStar Aviation in KGJT. They have a vast amount of knowledge on this airframe and engines. They can even overhaul that TPE331 for you. Tell them I said hello.

Another good contact for engines is CD Aviation Services http://www.cdaviationservices.com in Joplin, MO. A previous company I worked for used them for their 331's on their Metroliners and they were really happy. In our case, they gave a one day pilot training class that was the best that I had been through during the time I flew them (and the 441) over various years. Jason
