Funny title :D

Seen this video. I insure the only seaplane operation in the San Francisco Bay, www.seaplane.com - their Beaver is unbelievably pristine and beautiful.

A guy in Ardmore, OK has a beautiful Beaver. It's funny when ATC around here or Dallas asks him how he identifies his Beaver. One of these days he's going to get caught keying the mic...

Great video! Many of the pictures were Kenmore Air Harbor planes out of Seattle. I've handled a few insurance claims for them over the years, and I had the good fortune of getting to know Bob Munro, the founder of the company. A more resourceful man I have never met. On more than one occasion I watched him and his crew recover Beavers submerged in salt water, dump them in the fresh water of Lake Washington for a week or so to "flush them out", and then bring them up and return them to pristine, better-than-new condition. There was no such thing as a "total loss" of a Beaver, at least not to Bob Munro. If you want to read more about him and his wonderful company, get the book Success on the Step by Marin Faure.

I bet the greenies would "chuck teddy from the cot" over that idea these days.

Smart move though.

I once posted a picture of someone hand propping a Beaver... I think you might have seen a little "Beaver" in the shot so I did get shot down over it! I did notice one BT'er using it for their avatar

What this one?

http://t0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9 ... hcqHMHfbn_

It is a family site after all.

Not sure that the airplane is a DHC 2 it might be something else but some damned woman is in the road so I can't tell.

I am sure most of our bandwidth can handle a higher resolution picture.
