5000 Cirri flying out there!

I'm guessing the jet never gets "off the ground" with the Chinese owners.

I think the jet is probably close to ready to go as are many other new jets but they're just holding off until there's a better market. They're all afraid they'll launch and fail.

I don't believe Honda is afraid to launch. Deliveries start in less than a year.

I just don't think that airplane will ever make it to market.

My GF worked for them. Now, they don't call anymore and have very little presence at shows. Also, when I spoke to the sales guy, their contract to buy had a fully refundable deposit. Sooooo, just because they have contracts doesn't mean anyone actually will buy.

The numbers on the thing are terrible. Full fuel you can carry a 60lb pilot. 1100 fpm climb to 41K'. etc....

A bit off topic but I heard the US Air Force Academy just picked up a contract for 25 SR-20s for their flying program..when I went through there we had DA-20s..seems like a pretty sweet deal for em..

In of course completely unrelated news, both congressmen for North Dakota and St Louis county MN have been replaced with freshman republicans in the 2010 election.
