Thanks for that, Doug! I remember visiting the Davis Monthan AFB in AZ when I was a teenager. Rows and rows of mothballed aircraft - all types. At that time (in the 70’s), the public was welcome to drive right onto the base and we could drive right up and down each row of the parked aircraft. Probably can’t do that anymore.. I was in awe

Not at the USAF museum, but at one of the AMA museums, I think Warner Robbins, I saw an RB-57F, which is a not very well known variant.

Had to look that one up! Cool! At first glance I said, looks like a Canberra. Sure enough

The cockpit trainer aircraft used to be inside the museum annex hangar.

Hi Doug,
I used to volunteer at the museum. I spent a lot of time on the first aircraft you showed, The Total In-Flight Simulator (TIFS), when I worked in the B-2 SPO and we were developing the approach and landing control laws and Flying Qualities for the B-2. That aircraft used to be inside the museum in the R&D section in Gallery 4. The museum likes to rotate their displays periodically, so they do move aircraft around to include outside. A lot of the aircraft I worked on during their early development are in that museum now. Thanks for the video and walk down memory lane.
