5 or so years ago Greg Cole of Windward performance was showing
the prototype GosHawk at Oshkosh.

Windward performance web site is still up, but nothing has changed since 2018 or so.
the phone number rings as disconnected....

Did something happen to Greg?
I can find nothing about windward performance or any of his projects since about 2019...

Seem like a really bright talented guy...

Greg's still around, I saw him at Oshkosh last year, but Windward took some hard knocks the last few years. The Goshawk was left without an engine when HKS unexpectedly canceled the HKS 700. After Greg designed and built the wings for Perlan II, the customer took the project away and gave it to RDD to finish. And the top-secret 70% scale carbon SR-71 project didn't go to Windward after all, it went into a hangar on the other side of the runway. Rumor at the airport is that Greg is looking to vacate his big hangar.

Greg and his wife have moved out of the area as well, but I haven't seen any official announcement about their company yet. I hope to see them next week at OSH as I typically cross paths at some point, but I haven't reached out so far to see if they'll attend. 2 years ago they were there just as spectators.
