Here are some new pics from a customer that installed our STC approved Child Seat for Cessna 150/152's. This particular seat is installed in a 150F.
The nut plates used for securing the seat back were installed by Cessna in all 150/152 models. The seat bottom assembly can be removed in less than 15 minutes to fit your trip requirements, and can be reinstalled in nearly the same time.
Currently, this seat is offered in blue, red, tan, gray, or maroon. All material is high-quality, stain-resistant vinyl, and complies with FAR 23.853 (horizontal flame testing). Other colors or materials are available on a custom basis.

Wow, what is the age/size target for this? I barely fit in a 150 last time I tried with any amount of fuel with my wife ha... I struggle to see my 5 year old back there being legal, but would awesome if it all worked.

Being this is a bench seat with a lap belt, what's the target age? I don't see much younger working either due to lack of additional support. Maybe my family is just heavy.

Best of luck with the product!! Always exciting to see new stuff.

Thanks Al! I am having our product folks pull up the STC #'s on weight limitations and will post ASAP. Here's an image with a child seated for reference.

The weight limit for the baggage compartment area is 120 lbs. Being that many people (including myself) do not match the FAA's 170 lb. typical passenger, you just need some lighter weight occupants to make full use of the child seat, and/or take out some fuel to stay under the 1600 lb. gross weight limit of a 150M. I toyed with the idea of getting a factory child seat but didn't think I'd actually use it.

On a related note, I bought my 150M thinking I'd put in fancy modern IFR avionics and finally finish my Instrument Rating. I did the avionics part, but found it's really uncomfortable for two full size people to fly this thing.

When I learned to fly at 19, I was about 140lbs soaking wet, the instructor was probably a buck seventy five, tops.

Man o man….to be a small kid and to climb into that little fort-like space for another adventure with Pops, that’s what dreams ( and lives ) are made of! Buddy of mine flew his J3 Cub from Oshkosh to the California coast with is 10 yr old son as his FO. Imprinting.

That's great! I've only seen pictures of the child seats.
