Customer tells painter… “See this picture? My buddy’s King Air has a real nice paint job. Good colors, good design. Paint my Commander like that.”
Paint shop: “Uh…OK”

Kind of Odd Love these Planes though My first commercial plane ride was in an F27, about 1964 I remember the first Time I walked up and Looked at a Commander I thought it looked liked a mini F27 I Thought.....Personal Airliner

Other than the obvious big B on the tail, its interesting to me how certain schemes are able to be attributed to a certain manufacturer. There is one airplane that passes through my airport occasionally that always makes me take a second glance. Its your run of the mill Piper Cherokee, but it painted in what I would say is obviously a Bonanza factory scheme. Always makes me look twice.

He should check his pitot and static ports, he must be parked near a B's nest.

Maybe he is a Spongebob TV show fan. My kids pointed out to me that the big B looks like Squidwards head from the side. Once you see it you can’t look at the logo the same afterwards.
