All the overhead vent louvres in my club’s Archer III are broken. I think I found the right replacement part. Wondering if anyone knows how to replace them. Do they just pop out with a little coaxing with a putty knife? Is there any connection to a duct, or is that overhead console just one big plenum? I changed all six original vent louvres in my Saratoga, with the one shown. If you stick a putty knife or a flat screwdriver in the side to pop the old ones out, you are likely to crack the old brittle plastic panels holding them. Best is to remove the panels and pop out the old ones from the back. The new one shown goes in but you will likely have to trim out the panels just a little bit at the corners.

Since I posted, I found out that this is more involved than I realized. The Archer II and III have a vent assembly with plastic studs in each corner, which get a spring clip on the back side of the overhead console. Gotta take the console down to get them off. Attachment: piper louver.jpg Michael, the part I pictured was from Knots2U. It also turns out it's not a direct replacement. The description says you need to square the ends of the mounting holes to use this. It's probably an easy job, but there's not much room for error. https://www.knots2u.net/vent-assy-louve ... -v136-349/
