Here's a video a friend of mine, Dan Millican, did about a year ago. Thought this group would enjoy!

That was a great video! I love the sound of an R-1820 with short stacks. I can't wait to start training for my T-28 LOA/type pretty soon.

I noticed that after every roll, a little fuel spews from the vents on the bottom of the flaps. Having recently helped to remove/reinstall the fuel bladders and the associated plumbing on a T-28D, that was interesting to see. The vent lines and slosh valves in the outer bladders were a bitch to install, but it's cool to see that they actually work. But it might get expensive if I do too many rolls with full tanks, venting too much fuel! Maybe I'll wait to burn down a bit before doing acro.

Thanks Jim.

I don't think we're losing that much fuel when venting - at 80+gph when doing acro a little fuel venting isn't going to make any difference!
