George It's a bladder in the rear of the cabin. Not sure what's in the floats.

Believe it or not, it is a G100UL avgas issue.

Believe it or not, it is a G100UL avgas issue. You should look up for how the underwing float tanks are setup. Early Lakes did not store any fuel there, but the later ones do. I'm sure a proper expert will chime in sooner rather than later, but I do remember how my old one was setup when I lived in MN: rubber bladder in the rear, almost dead on CG, maybe a bit behind, IIRC.
