Sitting here at the terminal in Fort Myers. I haven't seen these type of winglets before on the United 737's.

My wife and I just flew from Phoenix to New Orleans on a brand new SW 737-800 and I noticed them also. Never seen them either.

This is from the Boeing website on the new 737 Max:

Boeing has now developed, built and will be installing their own winglets for the 737 MAX family.

The "Advanced Technology" winglet combines rake tip technology with a dual feather winglet concept into one advanced treatment for the wings of the 737 MAX.". They will be split-tipped, straight-edged winglets for the 737 MAX.
