Name a single t-prop that doesn't look like garbage from exhaust soot after 10 hours of flying.
441. Exhaust comes out the back and provides thrust, like it should.

It would literally be unbeatable in the marketplace with those on. it would be amazing... amazingly awful. The Piaggio as she stands is the unbeatable turboprop. Now a case could be made for the TPE331-14. But a marginal case.

Regarding Available EVO's.. Yes there are 2-3 we are keeping an eye on, Not sure any are actually listed anywhere. Happy to discuss, but since we don't have exclusive listings on them, this isn't really the best place to give details. Anyone is welcome to email/call me anytime, however.
As far as current pricing, right now most are priced approximately 5.0m +/-.

$2 is getting harder to find, but does still exist today at some locations around middle of nowhere America. Paid 1.59 a gallon in São Paulo recently. That part is great. The $726 airport charges plus $700 handling charges not so much. That was for a 4 hour stay.

I think more types need threads like this one. They are very helpful when shopping. Actually, BT is enough of a central gathering place that I think Jeffs should provide full-blown subforums for types that don't have a home elsewhere. It would be great to have a full Piaggo forum here for *all* Piaggios - I always like the gull!

Who else maintains Avanti this side of Rockies besides Stevens and Southwest Aviation Specialties? THE BS out there from people like Stevens is what hurt this airplanes reputation - and its almost universally WRONG. Of COURSE you can spend 1,000 dollars an hour on maintenance with a robber baron shop like Stevens or Textron - but who takes their airplanes to the dealer for maintenance after warranty periods anyway unless you love throwing away money? I had a quote from one of these shops that shall remain nameless to do a corrosion inspection for 76,000 dollars - and then HAD IT DONE by ICJ for 18,000. Its absolutely ridiculous the crap thats spread on these airplanes by people that have no direct knowledge of their true costs OR people who want you to spend cubic dollars in their overpriced shops.... As to downtime? Well I guess if you run an airplane into the hangar and need a new wing you might wait some months but normal downtime for maintenance with these airplanes is NO different than a King Air a Citation or any other bird of this consequence. Ask an owner and operator about their experience and you will get a much better picture than these clowns that dump on the airplane
