Tony:

Funny, I can't figure out what I said that you disagree with! I said he is the social village idiot. You aren't going to change him so basically let it go.

So....

Do you disagree that he is a social misfit?

Do think you can change him?

Can you just not let it go?

For those who just can't deal with boorish behavior you can opt out on a person by person basis. I think you mark him as an enemy and poof...no more village idiot.

People like posts because they represent what they feel. It's PURELY emotion.

Some of those happen to be based in logic and facts. Some don't.

So it is just like how people vote for President!

I not sure whether you realize it but Mike is seeking a foil. For many years Mike and Ken Meyers argued about the relative merits of the Eclipse and MU-2 on the CPA forum. Now it appears that Andy may take up the mantle that Ken had dropped. Mike's recent repartee with Andy is a test to determine whether Andy is a worthy opponent.

This is reminiscent of the battle between the Vorlons and the Shadows on the TV show Babylon 5. Eventually the humans asked them to leave the galaxy.

Mark,

Ok, I get it. Don't feed the trolls... :D

:btt:

I'm going to go see the Mustang factory in a couple of weeks when I can get up there. It will be interesting just to see how they build them and what the superficial quality looks like inside and up close.

I'll say one thing for the Eclipse welds, they are amazing in their precision and beauty despite being the wrong way to bolt together an airframe and being the cause of massive numbers of ruinously expensive repairs.

Phenom 100 Saturday with any luck...

That was patently obvious 10 minutes after he showed up.

It will be interesting to hear your perspective after seeing the Eclipse/Mustang/Phenom factories.
I suspect I know which one will impress you the most.

Don't they now build the 100 in Florida?.
