Yes the m600 doesn’t work for me at all at 6’4”, my head sits in the cutout and it’s workable with in ear headsets, but not ideal. I sat in back and felt a bit crammed too, maybe slightly better than an A36 but not even close to my twin bonanza or a king air. Do you have a photo with 4 in the back? I love all the specs on the 600 but the cabin is a deal breaker. I haven’t sat in the SF50 yet but it looks awesome.

Here are 4 in the back plus a 110 lb dog. Meridian, but similar cabin. Very comfortable. I have carried 6 adults many times as well. The M600 cabin is 2 inches wider than the TBM, and the seats are farther apart seat front to seat front than a TBM or even a Mustang. It is not as tall as either one of those though. I am 6'2 and 210 lbs in this photo. Have been successful increasing useful load recently with diet and exercise ;)

I’m 6’3” and fit in the front fine with the seat all the way back and the seat back behind me folded down. My head doesn’t align with the head cut out as I need to recline my seat to fit. Ideal? No, but workable. In ears would make it perfect but I haven’t found a par of noise canceling.

The back is the roomiest in its class by a fair margin.

I tend to be value and utility oriented. As such I’d look at the cost, speed, range, fuel burn, ownership costs, etc.

SWMBO would look at those things too but then she’d want to hear a lot about the parachute. That’s where the comparisons between the SF50 and the various SETP’s stop.

Plus the SF50, like it or not, has sex appeal. It looks sleek, fast, beautifully done. The interior oozes new, cool, etc. The oohs and ahs of the crowd when the 2 SF50’s flew into Camarillo for a photo shoot last April were unmistakeable.

I think the M600 is a wonderful aircraft. But honestly it looks about like an M500, M350, Meridian, Mirage, Malibu, etc. And it’s not visually that much different than a TBM or Pilatus.

Arrive in an SF50 and people will know and remember the difference.

Is that important to their buyers? I’m guessing it is a factor.

For me, not so much. SWMBO would probably like the parachute all other things being relatively equal.

Yeah but few want to drop 2.7m to "make it work". I'd want to be excited about climbing in, and super comfortable once seated. I'd want passengers not to be shoulder to shoulder even if they're kids, with a dog or bags under feet and limited cargo space behind the rear seats. Meridian is awesome plane for a small-ish family, but for the same money it appears that the SF50 wins on the cabin... the SF50 cabin looks incredibly spacious and very well designed. Photos can be deceiving I suppose, I can't wait to sit in one.

The perfect powerplant for the Vision SF50
The Williams FJ33-5A is a scaled down version of the widely popular FJ44 engine.
According to Williams, over 5000 FJ44s are in service and have accumulated over 10 million light hours. Legendary reliability, a superior thrust-to-weight ratio and world class customer service are some of the reasons why Cirrus se-lected the Williams FJ33 to power the Vision Jet.

Williams International is a perennial favorite in the Pro Pilot Powerplant Product Support Survey. Over the 18 years Williams has been included in the Survey, the company has outscored its nearest rival by 5%. The FJ33-5A is based on the same technologies as the larger FJ44 powerplant, which has a pedigree 2nd-to-none with over 5000 engines in service accumulating more than 10 million hours

I think that green and white SF50 needs a smile painted on the bottom of the nose like the old PSA 727s. Perhaps a button nose as well. It would complete the character of the exterior.

Would you like it with a higher ceiling?
Would you find that more appealing?
Would you like it with auto throttle?
Would that make you Coddle?
I would not like it with higher ceiling
I would not find that more appealing
Even with auto throttle
I would not Coddle.

Gus sat down, rubbed his chin and said “Well… The stall speed is a little on the high side…seems this plane stalls as low as 300 kts. Damn thing is just stalling all the time, all over the place. Up-Down-Up-Down. Seems the only time this plane isn’t halfway into a stall/spin is when its sitting on the ramp and even then, that gear looks like it could fold up at any second. It’s a good bird, just a little dodgy here and there.”
