This is a little crazy as far as scheme practicality, but definitely fit for a billionaire.

Reminds me of Mike Tyson's face tattoo.

That’s “the rock” though, based out of van nuys

As the new proud owner I thought I would share a few pics of the finished product. Very excited about stepping up to this machine from my Mustang and will share my experiences as things progress.

As you get further from the equator (and closer to the poles) the troposhere thins and you hit the tropopause lower. There is typically a temperature inversion in the tropopause. It's not uncommon to see ISA+15 in the upper 30s and lower 40s in the higher latitudes (such as north Atlantic routes).

On Airbus, you can enter the tropopause in the FMS. Or leave it at it's default, of about FL360 or some such. It just optimizes step climbs. (I have been told, some will alter the value to create a more favourable descent, I can't get my head around that. But was probably on very long legs.)

This counts as my best new thing I learned today.

I will keep that in mind when flying at higher latitudes.

If your interested in the meteorology/atmospheric physics of this; look up the difference between Baroclinic and Barotropic air masses. Lapse rates are different as are the density profiles.

Another factor in the Aurora phenomenon.

Tony those are gorgeous color choices including how the tan inside goes with the blue and silver outside. You should be proud.

My mom picked the interior colors, she was an interior designer for 20 years.
