Fuel programs are the way to go. Get all of them. I have made several trips over the past couple weeks. My home airport was $5.70 (They are crooks) and the other four airports I visited on the road were $3.30, $3.36, $3.38, and $4.60)

Agreed, we had several of them, but never CAA and we also never got $3.anything anywhere that I can remember.

It certainly sounds like CAA is the new game in town. Based on how they operate, that's a great thing too. The more people they get on board, the lower the prices will go.

How about a Cessna Caravan?

Forgot my smiley :D :D

double up, just in case

Throw the caravan in. Those spend a lot of time at low altitude. There are a ton of them also. Not aware of any issues.

Prices on jet juice makes it a great time to own a turbine!

Michael, we're talking twins here, gas prices are irrelevant. Now did a Cessna Caravan have to ditch because of an engine failure or not......

Think Hawaii, think birth certificate, think swimming......when a perfectly good SECOND engine would have taken you back to the runway.......

:D :D :peace:

Show me the lives ended by engine failure in a SETP? Where are the caskets?

This whole conversation is tempting me in ways that I shouldn't let myself be tempted...

It's like when that smokin hot girl applies for the assistant position you have advertised. She has no qualifications at all... but, but...

I hired the very well qualified fat girl and have never regretted it.
