Pressurization is the issue I believe.

And that would explain an altitude reading of 9000 ft crossing the runway threshold how?

Not really overthinking it. I have no issue in non pressurized planes but always issues in pressurized planes. Not a hard conclusion but maybe wrong.

Flew the C510 into KHPN today. Nice bird. Sporty winds 37 knots 40 degrees off the nose. Working it.

Plane is basically as fast as the 550 but burns half the fuel.

Video has some NSFW language. :beechslap:

Click the hyperlink NOT the thumbnail.

To get a sense of the turbulence orient the video as though you were looking at me from the copilot seat.

As usual great vid Mark. And great flying. I didnt see any sweat this time. Just mild profanity. Typical pilot stuff.... :D

Now go fly the phenom 100 and give me a comparison. I sure like the visibility out of that cockpit. And being 6'3" have plenty of room.

Nice landing Mark! The tree limbs and garbage cans were the only thing flying here yesterday (I live just up the road from KBDR). I’m guessing you landed later in the day after it ‘calmed’ down.

How much have you been flying the Mustang? Sure looks like a sweet ride.

PS like the tail number

Not my pic, but an Embraer reported a 50kt shear.

You’re flying a Citation and the hydraulic flow and low level lights come on.

You head to an airport knowing you need to blow the gear down. You pull the uplocks and blow the donut.

On landing you have no brakes and have to pull the emergency brake.

What happened?

Forgot to put gear handle down?

Exactly....which means the electric/hydraulic brake motor won’t run.

Nice!

Correct.

So people know the hydraulic system for the brakes is seperate to the main system. So the hydraulic low pres will not effect brakes.

Didn’t run the QRH properly.

OK...should have started with “you are single pilot and injested birds at 2,000’ on departure”

I dropped my II off for some maintenance yesterday. I'm singing a different tune than the Klingon Citation I that never broke and was super cheap to maintain and still is for the new owners. The II has been a little buggy.

Here was the squawk list:

1) left pitot heater pops breaker in the rain
2) left and right engine heat lights don't go out, amps flicker
3) automatic air knob spins around and around
4) left pilots window whistles at high differential, proseal inside.
5) GPWS internal GPS fault
6) GDL 69 won't activate XM weather, update software, check antenna?
7) lower left EL panel not lighting up
8) no bleed air coming from right engine, replace valve?
9) right N2 gauge goes up and down at idle, replace gauge or sender? Right engine throttle sloppy, idles high.
10) nose retract actuator leaking fluid
11) replace boot conductive sealant
12) a few minor phase inspections....

Anyways, the goal is to be under $5K but I'll report back. I love the II, it's a much better airplane than a I.

The QRH works for both single pilot and two pilot.

You know...I think you’re right about that.

For which squawk?
