It must be because BT is searchable on google and each post pushes it closer to the top.

Jason Crandall, you need to buy an Eclipse and post some feedback on this cite! Ken, I disagree and still think an open forum is a great service and that Teds post was probably right on the money, as I have heard from other Eclipse owners who shared the same frustration with the Eclipse Jet. Finally, Ted made some positive remarks about the ownership of his aircraft, the post was not all negative.

Ken,

Well of course there was. One can't write things that are factually incorrect about people and the product they produce without it being nasty.

Well, now you have pulled your skirt up.

I don't know what that means, but I'm guessing you're not reaching out, endeavoring to be nice and trying to find out the facts. Somewhere I got the idea that members of BeechTalk like you might be interested in hearing what really took place. If I was mistaken in that belief, then my apologies.

Either way, I've said my piece, and I'll sleep well tonight...which wasn't actually true until I set the record straight.

Ken,

Glad you are sleeping well. Any chance you can get the offended parties over on the Eclipse forum to join BT and give there side? Preferably with a screen shot of the offending post.

Tim

Ken,

I read all of your posts here on BT as well as a number of articles thru Google search.

At first you seem to place a lot of value on civility and the search for truth.....who doesn't, that's like saying who's against apple pie & motherhood. But in the next sentence you twist off with this " I just heard the other day" tattletale that by inference links Ted to some tawdry sounding website. What are you trying to say Ken?
That Ted started this site, endorses this site ? And in keeping with your relentless pursuit of the truth how does this further our knowledge of all things Eclipse?

Don't BS a BSer'

Adios.

Ken,

There was nothing nasty about Ted's post..and until now I was inclined to think the same about you. That you were merely an Eclipse enthusiast bordering on an Eclipse cheerleader. Well, now you have pulled your skirt up.

Character assassination by association is dishonest and at least for me you have lost any credibility you may have previously enjoyed.

Best of luck to you.

Will I get banned from this cite if I explain to Ken what Chirs' comment about the skirt means?

There's a lot of unnecessary snarky comments in this thread. It would be unfortunate for petty mud-slinging to end such an otherwise informative thread, so let's try to reel that in please.

Thanks,

Jeff

And he said he was kicked off the Eclipse owners site for saying bad things about Eclipse and Eclipse Aerospace, telling BeechTalk members that the Eclipse Owners Club doesn't tolerate open discussion. Actually, Ted was kicked off for nasty personal attacks, including, I learned yesterday, reference to a website address "www.masons[admin edit].com." Mason Holland is the CEO of Eclipse, and Ted has been openly unhappy with him for a while. Whatever the beef between them, that kind of posting is unacceptable behavior anywhere in the civilized world.

He didn't do you any service. He got kicked off the Eclipse Owners Club and decided to take out his frustration right here on BeechTalk with a nasty rant against his former plane and its manufacturer as well as his former fellow owners.

Ken

Ugh, with this again? I got a 'warning' from the admins of the site. Basically it said that I was not allowed to post the things I did. Apparently there are still posts that remain (although have been edited) which say it is not 'fair' to EAI for me to post contact information of sub component manufacturers, etc. I responded to this PRIVATE email with my opinion of the message board, basically saying that I didn't want to be part of any community which was so 'one-sided.' Did I hold back in my thoughts? Not really. Could I have been more polite? Absolutely. Again, this was in a private email after having my posts deleted and receiving my 'warning.' I was banned shortly after that. I never made a personal attack towards anyone on that board. I responded when someone attacked me by suggesting they hit the ignore button on my name, or exiting the thread. The email from the admins said it was unacceptable for me to talk to a 'Lifetime' member like that.

I don't know how many times I have to explain it, Ken, but apparently one more time won't help. Believe whatever you want as it really doesn't hurt my feelings.

Furthermore, my post here about the Eclipse and my experience was hardly a 'rant.' I felt it was actually 75% positive. I was very honest about everything posted. I said several times that if I could do it all over again, I wouldn't change anything. So, what's your problem?

I should also point out to everyone, that Ken was one of my favorite members of the E5C. His opinion of Eclipse and the jet were more in line with mine than anyone else on there. He was always more open minded than 85% of the other members and we typically got along very well. He was nicer to me than just about anyone else there.

I know we would both defend the jet a lot. I'm done doing that and I believe that is where our differences now lay. (lie? )

Manson has monitors in his offices and bedroom with FlightAware monitors on it showing all live airborne Eclipse Jets.

He knows everything that is posted on the internet about Eclipse. I have had calls from him at 10pm on Sunday night when he didn't like something I said somewhere. I promise you he has personally read this thread and I wouldn't be surprised if I received a letter from their attorney about it ....

Congratulations TR, you created a thread that has over 10,000 hits. Quite an accomplishment if I may say so myself ! I actually find that more impressive then the jet
