Guy selling it is moving to an M350. Can't fit the new plane in. Moving to a hangar that can. If he hadn't found a hangar to fit the M350, he was going to have a tug system built to put the plane in sideways. My take on hangar cost in KBZN: 1. Single engine airplane ~ $400k 2. Small Turbo Prop or Larger Wingspan Piston- DA50, M600, TBM ~$1M 3. Light Jet or Twin Turbo Prop - $1.5-$2M 4. Medium Jet and Up- $2.5M+ https://www.bozemanrealtyone.com/commer ... s-mt-59752 $325k This is at an airport 20 miles away with Self Serve 100LL only and no IFR approaches. The airport authority is being very proactive in creating more ground leases, but it will be 1-2 years before it's available. They are working through all the engineering and regulatory hurdles. Mike, I would be all over your setup.

You have very few airport choices, and it shows. I'd never locate my business in a place so limited in GA resources. Quote: Mike, I would be all over your setup. My setup is very good with low hangar rent, on field service, etc. The main negative is a 25 minute drive from my house or a 30 minute drive from my business. My move from KEVV to KEHR saves me about $25,000 per year for an extra 10 minutes of driving each way, which is clearly worth it for me. I don't mind the 10 minutes, but it adds to all of my passenger times, too, which I wish it didn't. Mike C.

You must be exaggerating, no?
My hangar with valet parking is $8640/year.
Mike C. My 39-foot wide T-hangar that just fits my Columbia 400 is $8460 a year, + property tax of $656 each year, to the county I lease the hangar from. The same county that banned 100LL.

After spending 16 years in NorCal I don't want them ruining this state like they did Colorado. Plus they try to drive like they did in California. We need to have some kind of Welcome to Oklahoma training for aggro costal drivers when they move here. I love it here. I pay $495/month for a community hangar with valet service, free GPUs, scissor lift that you can borrow to work on your plane, and CAA fuel price for based tenants ($4.41/gallon today). Plus I have a great mechanic on field that charges $100/hour, let's me help work on the plane, and is happy when I source parts for him. Not to mention that being in the middle of the country means shorter trips to visit places. Oh and we have a ton of great lakes really close by for boating, fishing, etc. Oh crap, I'm selling it. Forget everything I said. It's horrible here.

We have one of the worst education systems in the country, some of the worst healthcare, high crime, high unemployment and crippling poverty, no water, no trees, nothing but flat earth and dust all the way to the horizon…wait….where are y’all going? Come back!
Seriously, I love where I am but 330 million Americans think they found a better place. At least 329,999,000 of them are right.

How in the hell did Florida get mentioned in the same sentence as California?

I’ve heard the same thing here in Tennessee, I just laughed! It has very little to do with people moving from Florida to Tennessee, it’s rental cars!
When our government decided to shut down our country, some states didn’t shut down, as a result people vacationed there… so Florida had high demand for rental cars. In other states the car rental companies liquidated their fleets, but not in Florida.
Now, when I travel, no matter where and I rent a car, there’s a dang good chance it has Florida plates!

Just visited my sister in Las Cruces (nice airport with new flight school fuel available at much lower cost). It is a beautiful state, and the Mexican food in Cruces is exquisite. But it is indeed a poor state.

I do love the food there! I love the traditional Mexican dishes with more peppers than cheese and the peppers from the Mesilla Valley are awesome!
