Actually she is awesome, she had just bought a PA20, is a member of the 99's, has her private and is working on her instrument and wants to be a crop duster. She won a women in aviation award for 15 hrs in a Pitts and would be learning acro. Her grandfather owned the FBO and passed away so her grandmother asked her to run it after she graduated university with a math and econ degree. Support that FBO for sure! Sounds like a NORCAL BTer trip to Winnemucca for fuel this weekend........ Congrats on the new bird Adam and welcome to the Citabria club... Rick

As an interesting aside, the Cub is way harder to land smoothly. Ale I considered many other tail draggers, but I really wanted tandem seating to be able to look out at the ground on both sides, and a stick. That ruled out the Maules and a bunch of others. I'm also 6'4" and don't fit well in a bunch of others including the Husky. The Champ just feels like it's built for tall guys like me. It really is fun to fly but I am jealous of the doors and windows being wide open like you have on the cub.

You can see what taildragger ownership does to one's "swagger". Next he'll be saying "real pilot" this and "rudder skills" that. Next thing will be intersection take offs and landing BETWEEN the runway and taxiway on the grass. I like it. Good stuff.

Adam, Great looking plane in and out! I think you will like the new seat better. We had a partner in the SD I had who is your height. He could sit in the seat in either position but liked it better back. Didn't have to splay his legs out so wide. I got out of the SD partnership but seeing your plane makes me want back in! Have fun!
